Antiques + Modernism Winnetka, a marriage of the Winnetka Antiques Show and the Modernism Show, is this weekend, October 18-20.
The union (well, to be exact, it’s the third anniversary of this union) brings together design from the 17th century up to the mid-20th century, with dealers from across the country selling American, British, French and Asian antiques, as well as pieces from the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern movements.
Find furniture, entertaining pieces, garden accessories, lighting, rugs, textiles, fine and folk art, architectural artifacts, and more. The event takes place at the Winnetka Community House (620 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka), which was put on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2007, and makes for a lovely setting for shopping and browsing.
