If you were out in Wicker Park this past Saturday, you may have noticed a few Ghostbusters, Care Bears, and Toucan Sams flying around. The costumed casts were running the eighth annual Chiditarod, an urban cart race/bar crawl that bills itself as the largest mobile food drive in the world. Teams of five people donated 55 lbs of canned food to enter, then participated in events at five different bars on the west side before wrapping up the five-mile run Saturday night.

We were out among the freaks this weekend (and we are proud to count ourselves among them). Our intrepid photographer snapped the best costumes of the race so you can relive the madness.
