Rev Up Your Wardrobe with a Phillip Lim Motorcycle Jacket

After seeing numerous iterations of the motorcycle jacket come down the fall runways once again, it’s clear that this iconic piece is no longer a trend but a full-fledged wardrobe basic.  Not that I’m complaining.  Putting on a motorcycle jacket has a way of making me feel instantly cooler, and it’s a great layering piece under wooly winter coats.

Of all the motorcycle jackets I've seen, this one by Phillip Lim stands out from the crowd. From the subtle floral print to the silk cording, it's a winner. Dresses, skirts, pants, jeans—it goes with them all, and you don’ t have to wait until spring to flaunt your new cool.

$1,195 at Saks Fifth Avenue, 700 N. Michigan Ave., 312-799-5211.
