Who doesn’t love a good sale?  For deal seekers and fashionistas alike, waning enthusiasm for the season’s offerings can be reinvigorated with the prospect of markdowns. 

I love to stock up on wardrobe staples, such as suits, during these times.  A well-made suit is one of those things that is not particularly exciting to buy, but a great thing to fall back on when you are feeling lazy and dressing up is required.

Stella McCartney is absolutely brilliant at making sharply tailored suits, and to get one on sale is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.  I love the half-lapel, the summery color and easy silhouette of this suit, and the blazer could easily do well on its own with dresses, a dressy top and shorts, or any of your other favorite summer ensembles.
