First is the worst,
Second is the best,
Third is the one with the treasure chest.
Fourth is king,
Fifth is queen,
Sixth is the one in the washing machine.
You might remember that old playground rhyme (or some variation of it involving a hairy chest) from when you were a kid. Borrowing a line from those lyrics, local designer Jay Byrnes started a streetwear brand in 2010 named Fourth is King, a collection of comfortable graphic tees, hats and skate decks made here in Chicago.
On Saturday, April 26, Fourth is King will unveil its spring and summer collection and collaboration with artist Jesse Brown during a pop-up sale in Lincoln Park. The sale kicks off at 7 p.m. at Heritage Littles (2868 N. Lincoln Ave.) with live music from The Headlands and free booze courtesy of Solemn Oath Brewery and Virtue Cider.
It's a chance to shop the collection in person, usually only available online. RSVP for the sale at DO312.com/FIKPopUp to receive a 10 percent off discount on your purchase at the event.
