Luxury Garage Sale doesn't hold many sales. Given that everything in this designer consignment store is technically already "on sale," you typically won't find further discounts.
The exception is this weekend, when LGS holds its second-ever Warehouse Sale and reduces hundreds of designer items (clothing, shoes, bags and costume jewelry) by brands like Chanel, Givenchy, Missoni, YSL, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Prada and Gucci.
As a preview, the store showed us a few items for sale:
- A pair of brand new cobalt blue Giuseppe Zanotti wedges (retail price $850; LGS price was $250; sale price $125)
- A brand new multicolor rhinestone, chain and feather bib necklace by Fenton (retail price $900; LGS price was $450, sale price $250)
- A Louis Vuitton Stresa PM bag in Damier Azur Canvas (retail price $1,890; LGS price was $1,195; sale price $995)
The Luxury Garage Warehouse Sale (1658 N. Wells St.; 312-291-9126, luxurygaragesale.com) runs Thursday, July 10 through Sunday, July 13. Hit it up the sale during the Wells Street Block Bash on Saturday, when other Old Town boutiques on Wells Street like Adelaide, Greenheart Shop and Occhiali Eyeglass will also be offering various discounts.
