In case you need more proof that SoulCycle is the chosen exercise of the elite, how’s this? Lady Gaga is coming to the new SoulCycle Chicago (1225 N. Wells St.) on April 21, where she will be slipping into her version of workout gear, hoping on a bike, and cycling away alongside 49 other lucky bikers to benefit her Born This Way Foundation.
Gaga started the foundation in 2011, along with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, who will also be biking at SoulCycle Chicago on that day. Their foundation is dedicated to “supporting the wellness of young people, and empowering them to create a kinder and braver world.”
SoulCycle, too, is no stranger to charity. In 2014, the brand raised $2.5 million for charity, and they frequently open their studios around the country for various types of charity rides. Their new SoulScholarship program provides free SoulCycle classes and mentorship to at-risk kids.
Reserving a “Born This Way Bike” for the evening will cost you $1,000, unless you want a bike right next to Lady Gaga herself—the intimidatingly named Bravery Bike—in which case you’ll have to shell out $2,500. There are only two of those exclusive tickets, so move fast! You’ll be getting in a great workout and hobnobbing with a celebrity between gasps of air.
The benefit ride takes place Tuesday, April 21, at 7:30 pm at SoulCycle Chicago (1225 N. Wells St.). Reserve your bike here.
