The founder of design studio Struggle Inc. gives us a look at his prized possessions.

For more than two decades, Cody Hudson has made punk rock treasure from trash. The 44-year-old street artist got his start plucking wood scraps from dumpsters, and his colorful designs have appeared on Converse shoes, Whole Foods bags, and even an Obama campaign poster. “I used to separate painting and design, but I’m connecting the two more as I age,” says the Wisconsin native, whose urban style permeates the Logan Square prewar he shares with his wife, Lori, and two daughters, Birdie and Georgia.
