Spring and summer weekends are always packed with vintage sales, flea markets, and antique fairs, and this weekend is the granddaddy that starts the season.

The Merchandise Mart’s annual International Antiques Fair brings to one place the wares of more than 200 vendors from all over the world, including art, antiques, and jewelry ranging from BC to the 20th century. There is something for everyone, whether you love Americana, folk art, old maps, books, or textiles.

Up for a party? Nab a ticket to the opening night gala (choose from the $150 VIP ticket, which gets you in at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 and allows you to shop the fair first, or the $50 ticket, which will get you into the opening night party from 7:30 to 10 p.m. If you’re feeling a bit more patient, tickets for April 26-29 are only $15.
