Remember Ravenswood Remix? Well, it has a new name—Remix Chicago—and a new location: Logan Square, along Milwaukee Avenue between California and Fullerton.
But its core purpose remains the same: celebrating arts and crafts made out of items that were probably headed toward a landfill.
Back for its third year this Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., the sale will have more than 30 vendors. You’ll find paintings on billboard canvases, masks made from old bicycle inner tires, and more.
There will also be live music, composting and water conservation workshops, and green-centric craft stations where you can make fun items of your own, such as a sketchbook out of re-used paper or a kite from garbage bags.
