The latest installment of the House Guests series at Neighborly (2003 W. Montrose) is opening this weekend, and the star of the show is artist Ryan Kapp. He will be there Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. showing off his new collection of prints and paintings.
SG Grand (1822 W. Grand Ave., 312-226-6654) is packing up and moving out. The new location is still T.B.D., but SG Grand’s last day in its current spot is August 11. In preparation, every single thing in the store is at least 20 percent off, and lots of stuff is discounted by way more. The Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival runs both weekend days from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be 140 artists, live music, and a children’s craft tent. It all goes down at Dawes Park (1700 Sheridan Rd., Evanston).
