It doesn’t happen often, but when the women behind the artists collective Pearl decide to throw a pop-up event, it isn’t to be missed. So mark your calendar: Saturday is the next one.
It’s happening from 3 to 11 p.m. at the Rock Island Public House (13328 Olde Western Ave.) in Blue Island (a south suburb where a few of Pearl’s members live).
All five women behind Pearl will be selling their creations, and the event’s focus is on affordable, accessible art. That means you’ll find a ton of prints, textiles, sculptures, and décor, such as these cool mirrors, for between $20 and $100.
