Bellwether is just one of five events this weekend where you could find something beautiful to bring home.

Need some pretty things to look at—and potentially buy? Here are some places where you can do just that.

Bellwether at The Hideout

Not one to be left out of a trend, this weekend, The Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia Ave.) becomes the latest bar to host a craft fair. But this one sets itself apart from the crowd. Called Bellwether, the festival is being thrown by long-time producers of Renegade Craft Fair and The Vintage Bazaar. In other words, these people know what they’re doing. Here’s what you need to know: It goes on all weekend and there will be live music, libations, vintage goods, and bites.

Old Town Art Fair

If you love making the rounds of art shows all summer long, make sure you plan a visit to Old Town this weekend for the Old Town Art Fair. Don’t worry about this being some dinky little cluster of booths—it will have more than 250 juried artists selling drawings, paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and lots more. But wait, that’s not all! (Sorry—I had to go a little infomercial salesman there.) During the art fair, you’ll be able to go on a self-guided walking tour through 50 private gardens in the neighborhood (the map for the garden tour is in the program you get when you enter the art show). Find all of this Saturday and Sunday near Lincoln Avenue and Wisconsin Street.

Heartland Alliance Home & Garden Tour

This Saturday, June 8, is the annual Heartland Alliance Home & Garden Tour, a chance to check out some of Harbor Country’s most charming—and jaw-dropping—homes, while raising money to end poverty. Tours begin at Lovell & White in Lakeside, Michigan, at 10 a.m. EST on Saturday. Tickets start at $100.

Winnetka Summer Antiques Show

The Winnetka Summer Antiques Show is happening Friday through Sunday at the Winnetka Ice Arena (490 Hibbard Rd.). There will be more than 50 antique dealers selling furniture, jewelry, tapestries, furnishings, lighting, and more.

North Shore Flea

The North Shore Flea returns on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 428 Green Bay Rd. in Highwood. Expect vintage and handmade clothing, jewelry, furniture, accessories, and more.
