Unsurprisingly for a restaurant with the word “Dough” in its name, this modernized diner is all about the carbs.
It takes greasy-spoon standbys and gussies them up for both stroller-toting families and weekend-hangover warriors. Tomato soup ($6) tastes like puréed love apples just plucked from the backyard garden and comes topped with housemade croutons; juicy burgers ($9) nestled inside from-scratch brioche buns sit next to a tangle of thin-cut fries. Fettuccine with veggies and Parmesan sauce ($10) and other pasta dishes have the comforting heft of homemade noodles.
You may as well top off your carb-a-thon with a fluffy glazed doughnut ($2). So much dough for so little.
