At Ten East Delaware, a 35-story condominium tower now under construction at State Street and Delaware Place, residents will have all the services of a hotel at their disposal: For a fee, the neighboring Talbott Hotel will provide condo owners with catering and housekeeping.

Hotel amenities are just one item on a menu of high-end features that Mike Reschke—the CEO of Prime Group, the company developing the building—hopes will distinguish Ten East Delaware from other luxury properties under way near the Newberry Library. Other highlights include the refined, old-line look of the building, which was designed by Lucien Lagrange (who also designed the Elysian just north of here); the Ten Club, a social room and fitness center; and a rooftop deck, a pool, and gardens. "We wanted everything to be the best," Reschke says. That extended to putting an interior-style tray ceiling above each unit’s balcony, rather than the usual flat concrete panel.
With occupancy scheduled to start in the fall of 2009, Ten East Delaware has 32 of its 121 units still available for sale. They range in price from $550,000 for an 845-square-foot one-bedroom condo to $2.6 million for a 3,075-square-foot penthouse with three bedrooms.
