FURNITURE & HOME: Wright (1440 W. Hubbard St.) auctions rare modern furniture by well-known Scandinavian designers on November 15. Jayson Home holds its annual warehouse sale—with furniture, vintage items, antiques, accessories, and sample pieces marked down by 50 to 90 percent—from November 9 to 11 at 701 North Albany Avenue.
HOLIDAY SALES: The Junior League of Chicago helps kick off the holiday shopping season with its Gazebo Holiday Market November 16 and 17 at the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington St.). On November 17 and 18, Randolph Street Market (1340 W. Washington St.) organizes an indoor bazaar for vintage and new clothing, accessories, decor, and other gifts. And in Andersonville, participating boutiques along North Clark Street stay open until 10 p.m. on November 30 to offer special discounts during the Late Night Andersonville holiday shopping festival.
OPENING: Lanvin, the Parisian luxury fashion label, plans to debut its first Chicago boutique (116 E. Oak St.), located in the Gold Coast, before the holidays. Nearby, the French shoemaker Christian Louboutin and Buccellati, an Italian jewelry line, are on schedule to open stores this year in the renovated Esquire Theater (58 E. Oak St.).
WOMEN’S APPAREL: The owners of the Chicago-based clothing shop Le Dress (1741 W. Division St.) recently launched Denella, a collection of women’s dresses and separates.
