This year’s Chicagoans of the Year luncheon was held on December 3 at the Montgomery Club, where the 2018 honorees were recognized. The event began with a reception for the winners, distinguished guests, and event sponsors, including US Bank, GEMS Academy, and Gibsons Restaurant Group.

The main program began with opening remarks from Chicago magazine’s editor and publisher, Susanna Homan, followed by words from Marsha Cruzan, the regional president of presenting sponsor US Bank. Flowers for Dreams provided centerpieces for the tables and boutonnieres for the honorees. As guests enjoyed their lunch, Fox-32’s sports anchor Lou Canellis acted as emcee for the awards ceremony.
