On February 29, more than 800 guests gathered for the first AMITA Health Gala at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. The event served as the largest philanthropic effort to date for the AMITA Health Foundations, raising more than $1.5 million (thanks in part to a raffle with a grand-prize trip to Reykjavíc, Iceland). As AMITA Health Foundation Co-Chair Kenneth Bauwens put it to guests: “The gala symbolizes how we are leaping forward together as one, with hope and vision to create change in our communities and make a difference in people’s lives.” For more info, see AMITA's website, and check out photos from the evening below.
