On September 6, Gardeneers hosted their Third Annual Growing Healthy Futures Gala at the Bridgeport Art Center Skyline Loft. The Honoree for the evening was Gardeneers board member and former Mayor of Chicago Richard M. Daley. Over 350 guests gathered to support Gardeners school garden programs, providing vital services in communities on the south and west sides that lack access to fresh, healthy food. The Gala raised an incredible $420,000 for to support underserved children throughout Chicago.
