The Cubs aren’t the only ones who emerged victorious from Monday’s home opener against Milwaukee. Directly across Sheffield Avenue from Wrigley Field, the longtime haunt Sports Corner officially reopened to a full house following a ground-up overhaul. Now triple the size of its original 1976 digs, the bar’s new additions include sidewalk seating, a second-floor dining room with foldaway windows, a third-floor beer garden, and 44 TVs for so-close-you-can-taste-it viewing, right down to the Old Style ($4-$5).
