The NCAA men’s basketball semifinals were the purported main event Saturday at the new Noble Square spot Frontier, but all eyes were on the spit-roasted whole pig trotted out from the kitchen and carved up for a party of diners by gastropub staff. (In fact, it was a busy night all around: While basketball played on Frontier’s 42-inch flat-screens and six-foot projectors, Southpaw, the White Sox mascot, clowned with guests on the saloon’s second floor.) Tonight, however, we’re guessing patrons will come with their game faces on, ready for laser-focused watching and drinking. The NCAA championship matchup, between UConn and Butler, tips off at 8 p.m., and Frontier will be pouring Final Four flights—$12 for four 9-oz. servings of any draft beer—to help victory, or defeat, go down cold.
