October 4, 2006 – Breitling hosted 20 of its top clients to a three-hour hands-on cooking class at The Chopping Block in the historic Merchandise Mart. This night of education and exploration allowed guests the unique opportunity to receive instruction led by expert Chopping Block chefs in an intimate environment. Third Annual Jayson Home & Garden Shopping Event

October 12 2007 – Chicago magazine and the Goltz Group hosted more than 150 guests to “The Third Annual Jayson Home & Garden Shopping Event.” Attendees received an extra ten percent off all purchases made throughout the evening, including items already discounted for the Fall Custom Upholstery Sale. As guests shopped, they enjoyed delicious wine and a beautiful buffet provided by Blue Plate.

York Furrier 75th Anniversary

October 18, 2006 – Chicago magazine helped to celebrate York Furrier’s 75th Anniversary with an event on October 18, 2006. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and cocktails while browsing the exceptional collection of furs and fine outerwear. Raffle tickets were sold throughout the night for chances to win fabulous prizes. Proceeds from the raffle and a portion of sales throughout the holiday season benefited the Lizzadro Museum of Lipidary Art in Elmhurst, IL.

Blue Plate Reception to Open bluprint

July 11, 2007- Blue Plate, Chicago’s premier catering and event management company, introduced bluprint. The grand opening of bluprint, the only full-service restaurant in the Merchandise Mart, welcomed Chicago’s elite to walk down the blue carpet to the fusion of innovative taste and design. The event welcomed more than 500 of the city’s movers and shakers, who enjoyed signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres throughout the night.
