This week in viral hilarity, Jerry Seinfeld has shared a new episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, filmed in Chicago and featuring Steve Harvey. True to the show's title, the episode follows Seinfeld and Harvey as they cruise around in a ’57 Bel Air (apparently Harvey's dream car), first to Manny's Deli in University Village, then to Biggs Mansion in Gold Coast. Throughout the clip, the pair wax rhapsodic about the comedy gene and lambaste the oversensitive public as only two old-timers can (occasionally with huge cigars hanging from their mouths), both of them apparently exhausted by and reveling in their success.
Harvey's episode is the second in Comedians's sixth season, which premiered last week with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and will feature Stephen Colbert in the coming weeks. It was presumably filmed in the same stint as Seinfeld's spot on Harvey's show last week:
Seinfeld also dropped by Late Night on Tuesday to talk with former Chicagoan Seth Meyers, where he skewered political correctness ("creepy") and late-night TV itself ("a huge crock of you-know-what"):
