If you couldn’t snag tickets to Beach House’s sold-out show Tuesday at the Vic, don’t despair: There's one more chance to catch the band before it returns to Chicago this July to (probably) headline Pitchfork. Beach House yesterday added 14 new dates to its 2016 tour, all billed as “installation” shows, with founding members Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally performing as a two-piece.
To keep things intimate, tickets will be capped at 200 and fans will be encouraged to sit on the floor. And to mimic the setting of Beach House’s original bedroom recordings, everyone is invited to bring pillows.
Beach House kicks off the bonus slumber party Wednesday in Chicago at an as-yet undisclosed location. Tickets just went on sale this morning at beachhousebaltimore.com. Prices are steep—$50—but it could be worth it to soak up the dream pop stylings in a very dreamy setting.
