Given the generally subdued nature of Friday's acts, Pitchforkers seemed primed for a more visceral, head banging experience on Saturday.

Fortunately, post-punk rockers Parquet Courts provided plenty of opportunities to go a little crazy in an invigorating afternoon set. The Brooklyn-based quartet barely paused for breath, barreling through songs from their album Light Up Gold with explosive precision.

Interlocking guitar work, Lou Reed-like stuttering, innocuous lyrics ("Stoned and Starving")–they were all there and they were glorious. At the end of its set, Courts simply shuffled off the stage. No banter necessary.
