We’re obviously excited for Game of Thrones season three to start on March 31—we even profiled one of the show’s writers, local native D.B. Weiss. But we’re clearly not as fired up as the guys at Emporium Chicago.

In honor of the show’s return, the Wicker Park arcade bar is hosting a party on March 29 and tapping a Game of Thrones-themed keg of Brewery Ommegang’s newest creation: Iron Throne Blonde Ale. Here’s how brewmaster Phil Leinhart described it:

“A delicate, but piercing Golden Blonde Ale with Noble hops. Iron Throne is certainly fair in color and soft in appearance, yet it still possesses a complexity and bite to be on guard for.” Sounds like a press release issued out of Westeros.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the tapping on March 29, though. Ommegang says the beer will be available nationwide by the end of March.
