The Lollapalooza lineup wait is over, and more than a few people are waking up this morning with some raised eyebrows over who made the final cut.
Paul McCartney, Metallica, and Florence and the Machine will headline the fest this year, which takes place July 31-August 2 at Grant Park. Other main acts include Sam Smith, Alabama Shakes, the Weeknd, alt-J, and Bassnectar (sorry, Drake fans).
This will be McCartney's Lollapalooza debut. He'll headline Friday night (no word yet on if his friend Kanye West will show up mid-set). Metallica, meanwhile, last joined Lolla in 1996, when it was a traveling tour.
Three-day passes to the fest sold out yesterday, but single-day passes are on sale (for $110) starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
