There were many ideas to file away after my visit to this year’s DreamHome at the Merchandise Mart, but the one that stands out most in my mind is the gigantic inspiration board above the desk in Robyn Shapiro’s study. With Pinterest sticking it to old-school pinboards lately, I felt almost weepy admiring the many gems Shapiro had physically pinned to a neutral fabric with a pretty grosgrain ribbon border.
