Just like the Chicago skyline these days, the famed Hans Wegner Wishbone chair—featured in our most recent color issue—is going pink. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Pink Wishbone Project (organized by the furniture showroom Suite New York) has enlisted the help of 20 famed female designers to create a cushion for the Carl Hansen & Son classic. All proceeds will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Can’t make the New York exhibit or kick-off party Thursday evening? You can still bid on a chair by Laura Kirar, Kelly Wearstler, Allegra Hicks, and more on charitybuzz. Bidding closes at noon on October 28.
