Bo Concept (1901 N. Clybourn), the Denmark-based home furnishings shop, has always made accessories, but the Chicago location never carried very many. That is, until now.
This season the store is receiving a huge shipment of the latest accessories—all inspired by history: industrialism, rococo, 50s, 60s, 70s, even 80s (yes, the 80s were inspirational in their own way). The accessories don’t shy away from bold colors like neon and shiny metallic. But there are also crisp white ceramics and natural woods for those who like a more subtle look.
There are vases with owls, sea shells, and bamboo; wall clocks from the classic to contemporary; candles and candlesticks; fun throw pillows; and whimsical sculptures to top off a stack of books on your coffee table.
