I am obsessed with this sideboard. It’s made by Dan Sullivan, a former musician and carpenter who has, I think, found his true calling in designing and making furniture.
Sullivan’s company, Navillus Woodworks (Navillus is Sullivan spelled backwards), produces geometric, structural furniture that is both eye-catching and very well-made. Each piece in the newest collection, called the Franklin Series (which includes chairs, stools, this sideboard, and a desk), shares the same unique leg design. So unique, in fact, that Sullivan has a patent on it.
See Sullivan’s work in person at Morlen Sinoway Atelier and Pauline-Grace. Sullivan is also open to custom orders; contact him at 312-375-2680.
