Martyn George (1855 W. Grand Ave.), the fun shop full of vintage kitchenware that is always a treat to stop into, isn’t going to be around much longer.

Owner Johanna Brannan Lowe is closing the brick-and-mortar store to focus on the online store, pop-ups, and private label designs. That’s the bittersweet news. The good news is that for the next two weekends, Lowe is throwing a huge sale. Everything in the store is going to be discounted from 25 to 75 percent.

This is not a time to mourn. The atmosphere is going to be festive, with complimentary bites and drinks while you score your deals. Can’t make it in? From Saturday through July 21, you can also shop online at 15 percent off.
