Staircases are often a forgotten part of the home. They serve a strict purpose—to help you get from one floor to another—and there aren’t really too many ways to perk them up. But Chicago designer Andrea Steuck, owner of Pot & Kettle Studios, is set on giving stairs their due.

Steuck started up Pot & Kettle last year and has been making high-quality removable vinyl wall decals and graphics ever since. Her latest creations are these cool chevron decals for your stair risers. I’ve seen this look before with paint, but always thought it seemed like way too much work. These take no time at all to stick on and can be removed instantly whenever you get sick of them.
