Thos. Moser
The untrendy yet always-in-fashion pieces here, made in Maine (as they have been for 38 years, under the guidance of master craftsman Tom Moser, a Chicago native), have a timeless quality. Most are made of American black cherry, and are built to last at least as long as it takes that tree to reach maturity—75 to 125 years. Recently the company branched out into using ash, which has a beautiful grain and a clean, modern feel (the Meridian dining table and chairs are shown above).
