Although Fleur, Logan Square’s top flower and gift shop, has been in business for twelve years, this past year it has really, well, fleurished (we had to). There have been features in Town & Country, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Style Me Pretty, plus partnerships with Kinfolk and workshops at Anthropologie. But when Fleur’s landlord threatened to significantly raise the rent, owner Kelly Marie Thompson seized the opportunity to move onward and upward. Still in Logan Square, the shop’s new location (2651 N. Milwaukee Ave.) is more than double in size, with exposed brick walls and original wood floors. To take advantage of all that space, Thompson is offering more gift lines and jewelry, classes on flower arranging, weaving, custom fragrances, and more. On a recent stroll through the shop, we eyed these five new items we can’t wait to bring home.
