Critz Campbell’s illuminated Eudora chair, shown here at Crab Tree Farm’s Lake Bluff Showroom, will be among the pieces on display at SOFA. |
Check out the avant-garde creations of a group of furniture makers who live and work at a studio on Crab Tree Farm in Lake Bluff at this year’s SOFA Chicago (November 2-4, Festival Hall at Navy Pier). The fully functioning farm—also home to a rarefied collection of American and British Arts and Crafts furniture—is owned by philanthropist and art collector John H. Bryan (retired chief executive of Sara Lee) and counts well-respected designers such as Mike Jarvi and Critz Campbell, whose pieces will be on display at SOFA, among its alumni. sofaexpo.com
