Aaron Oliver, a food blogger and photographer, says he started this online listing of minority-owned restaurants in 2016 to “support Black food culture” in the city. Call it a bandwagon if you want, but after the George Floyd protests, a whole lot of other people realized they wanted to do the same. In the four weeks after the protests, his Instagram feed, where he touts many of the restaurants featured on his site, gained more than 4,000 followers. At last count, Seasoned and Blessed had more than 80 listings.
