Pop juggernaut Lady Gaga has been spending plenty of time in the Windy City lately. (Her boyfriend, Chicago Fire’s Taylor Kinney, has been filming the NBC series here since last year.) You can catch her this month at the United Center, where she will stage her Born This Way Ball. Or simply hang out at any of these spots.
Avondale
The pop star likes burgers and beer at Kuma’s Corner (2900 W. Belmont Ave.)—and even she waits for a seat.
Boystown
Gaga goes veggie at the Chicago Diner (3411 N. Halsted St.).
Downtown
She and her BF have cozied up in the luxe suites at the Radisson Blu Aqua (221 N. Columbus Dr.).
Gold Coast
She’s shopped at Whole Foods (30 W. Huron St.) and indulged at Forever Yogurt (42 E. Chicago Ave.). Other mealtime choices include Lou Malnati’s (439 N. Wells St.) and Karyn’s Cooked (738 N. Wells St.).
Lincoln Park
The whiskey emporium that is Delilah’s (2771 N. Lincoln Ave.) is one of her favorite after-party places (see “The 100 Best Bars in Chicago”).
Uptown
Kinney recently told Chicago he wants a date night at legendary jazz joint Green Mill (4802 N. Broadway), another best bar in the city.
Wicker Park
She has thrifted at Recycle Men’s & Women’s Designer Resale (1474 N. Milwaukee Ave.), nabbed classic Dior at Store B Vintage (1472 N. Milwaukee Ave.), and stocked up on beauty products at Mojo Spa (1468 N. Milwaukee Ave.).
