Thomas’s superchill on-air vibe hints at his mellow West Coast roots. He started on the radio there early in college but then dropped out for the DJ booth. Rubbing shoulders with rock stars has been part of the job, but you won’t catch Thomas chasing any flashbulbs. “People think that because I’m on the radio I like being in the spotlight,” he says. “That’s not my deal.”
