Since founding her own interior design firm in 2012, Olson describes her days as “work, work and more work, sun up to sun down.” The Nate Berkus and Associates alum—she worked with him for five years—doesn’t mind the hectic pace, because no two days are alike. But when the weekend comes, her perfect Saturday is one where she can go through the day—hitting up Starbucks, reading magazines—at a leisurely pace. “When I go home to Birmingham, I’m constantly reminded of how it’s slower down there,” she says. “That slower pace is in my roots—I crave it, deep down.”
