Palomar is all about making connections: On the job, she’s a news station’s public liaison, and when she’s not working, she’s mentoring young women, a role she considers one of her most important. “You never know how what you say or do can impact another person,” she says. “It makes you more thoughtful in how you live your life.” A widow with no children, Palomar’s on the board of the National Museum of the Mexican Arts, Metro Family Services, YWCA and Casa Centrale. When she does indulge in some me-time, it’s usually in the evenings — either squeezing in a workout (she loves the on-demand cable offerings), watching late-night shows, or attending live theater.
Her type: Successful men with compassion, integrity, and strong work ethics.
