After he was named CEO of Texas-based RadioShack, former Walgreens Co. exec Joe Magnacca sold his 36th-floor condo in the Waldorf Astoria Chicago in March for $3.875 million, according to the Cook County Recorder of Deeds.

That’s 27 percent more than he paid for it in 2011. The 4,000-square-foot aerie boasts two terraces and includes all hotel amenities: room service, a concierge, and valet parking.
