The developers of a new residential project at 3823 North Ashland Avenue describe their smallest condos as one-bedroom units. But the showers are so big, they might almost be considered second bedrooms—if bedrooms came with steam and body sprays.

Those big showers are in keeping with the condos’ other sophisticated finishes: the handsome wainscoting and crown molding in the living and dining areas; the Bosch and Viking appliances; and a storage space that isn’t tucked away in the basement but, in most cases, situated on the same floor as the condo. One of the nicest touches is unseen: Beneath each floor there is at least two feet of space packed with insulation. “You’re not going to hear the people upstairs, even if they’re jumping around,” says Rich Kasper, the Century 21 Sussex & Reilly agent representing the building for its developers, Patrick O’Donnell and Gerry Heffernan.

Of the building’s 22 units, six were still available at presstime, and all were ready for occupancy. Prices go from $349,000 for a 1,095-square-foot one-bedroom unit to $749,000 for a 1,902-square-foot three-bedroom unit with a private rooftop deck.
