Dr. Maria Teresa Tam

Dr. Maria Teresa Tam is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon in private practice at All for Women Healthcare.

In 2013, Dr. Tam completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecological surgery (MIGS) at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where she received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and robotically assisted surgery using the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System. Upon her return to Chicago, she opened her new solo practice, All for Women Healthcare, SC, focusing solely on women’s health and gynecology, and specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

In 2013, Dr. Tam and All for Women Healthcare were designated as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG), by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), a nonprofit patient safety organization. Earning SRC’s COEMIG accreditation signifies an ability to consistently deliver the safest, highest-quality care to all patients. She has maintained the COEMIG designation since 2013, which requires SRC review and reaccreditation every three years.

In 2022, Dr. Tam was accredited as a Master Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology by SRC, a prestigious accreditation awarded to the top surgeons and medical professionals committed to establishing and maintaining a culture of excellence.

In 2023, Dr. Tam received Top Doctor of 2023 recognition from Castle Connolly. Being recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly is a testament to Dr. Tam’s unwavering commitment to her profession and the countless lives she has positively affected.
