Fox Valley Orthopedics (FVO) has grown from a modest practice of two physicians to a team of 22, providing diagnoses and treatment of acute or chronic orthopedic conditions or injuries. From treating broken bones and fractures to providing much-needed joint pain relief, FVO offers a seamless delivery of care.

FVO physicians offer both conservative and surgical orthopedic solutions. Specialties include foot/ankle, hand/wrist, joint replacement, spine, sports medicine, pain management, rheumatology, and internal medicine. Podiatrist Gary Kazmer, DPM, Internal Medicine Specialist Michael Hernandez, MD, Sports Medicine Surgeon Robert Matlock, MD, and Podiatrist Brett Albert, DPM, have recently joined the practice and are now accepting new patients.

The new Siemens Magnetom Free.Max MRI, one of the world’s most advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners on the market today, is now available at FVO. Its 80-centimeter wide-bore system sets a new paradigm in patient comfort while providing high-resolution images for better diagnostics.

To broaden FVO’s continuum of care, physical and occupational therapy is available across FVO-PT’s Algonquin, Aurora, Barrington, Elgin, Geneva, Huntley, and Yorkville locations. Whether a patient is recovering from a fracture, surgery, or joint pain, FVO-PT’s outpatient rehabilitation team will develop a comprehensive treatment plan to help build muscles, improve range of motion, and restore function.

FVO’s expansion continues with the opening of a practice in Yorkville in the coming weeks. Specialists in sports medicine, foot/ankle, and spine will be on hand to treat orthopedic injuries and conditions. Located at 1500 Sycamore Road, Yorkville, this location will also include physical therapy.
