On February 19, Chicago magazine hosted 350 spirits enthusiasts at the West Loop event space City Hall to sample an array of barrel-aged whiskeys and fine spirits. Attendees met master distillers and spirit ambassadors from more than 25 local and national distilleries, including Four Roses, KOVAL, Starward, the Dalmore, and Uncle Nearest. Between tastings, patrons snacked on food provided by Cooper’s Hawk, Lou Malnati’s, Rosebud Restaurants, and Vermilion while participating in the SPIN Chicago Ping-Pong tournament and Redline VR virtual reality booth. Guests commemorated the night in an Alexa selfie booth and left with a Chuck Senties caricature and a personalized Filson leather key chain or coaster.
