At Eve Alfillé’s opening party for her “Sacred Geometries” series on October 27, attendees felt as if they were magically transported into an exotic corner of Paris. Champagne and wine were flowing at the Chicago magazine sponsored event, and tempting hors d’oeuvres were served as a jazz duo played in the background. For her new series, Eve intertwines circles, squares, and triangles with sapphires, diamonds, garnets, and rubies, creating at once modern and ancient jewels. Eve, a French-born archeologist and gem expert has been designing one of a kind, art inspired jewelry for over 40 years. For more information, visit evejewelry.com.

Introducing Diane Alfillé’s “Origins” art glass series “This is a very female and also a very foliate form, in infinite intimate variations. And it is like your mind’s eye looking way, way back, it’s a doorway, a portal, a window, familiar and compelling.”
