The 39th Annual JDRF One Dream Gala, held at McCormick Place on Saturday, December 8, raised more than $5.4 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research advancements. Among the evening's festivities: a silent auction, dinner, speeches by JDRF leadership, and a performance by Barenaked Ladies, all of which made for a record-breaking fundraising total.
