More than 600 guests attended this year’s Rita Hayworth Gala on May 4. Sponsored by Chicago magazine, the evening’s theme, “The Key to Our Future,” was inspired by Paris’s Love Lock Bridge, bringing together supporters passionate about unlocking a world without the disease.

Longtime supporters Joan and Paul Rubschlager were honored with the “Legacy Award.” Jay Allen, country singer known for his hit song “Blank Stares” and who lost his mother to the disease earlier this year, received the “Caregiver Award."
