Today’s big news out of Chicago is the sentencing of the twin brothers who flipped on "El Chapo." The brothers, Pedro and Margarito Flores, were sentenced to 14 years each in prison for drug conspiracy.
Regular readers will remember the story of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera and how the Sinaloa cartel brought a huge drug empire to Chicago.
Regular readers may also remember a similar sentence for a famous (or infamous as the case may be) Chicagoan: Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who in December 2011 was also sentenced to 14 years after being found guilty of corruption.
It's just a coincidence, of course. But here's hoping the Flores brothers start teaching Shakespeare and Greek mythology as well.
